Capital conservation buffer
Starting from 1 March 2017, all banks in the country are required to constantly maintain capital conservation buffer at the level of 2.5% of the risk weighted assets. This capital buffer is prescribed with the Banking Law, it applies to all banks and there is no methodology for its introduction.
