Yesterday, the Governor of the National Bank, Anita Angelovska Bezhoska met the recently appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of North Macedonia, Dirk Jan Kop.
In the meeting, they stressed the excellent cooperation between the Dutch Embassy and the National Bank. For a long period now, the Dutch Embassy has been providing support to our institution related to the activities on the way to the European System of Central Banks. Governor Angelovska Bezhoska expressed pleasure that the Embassy and its staff monitor the National Bank operations, especially macroeconomic forecasts, perceptions of economic developments and stability assessments of the overall banking and financial system.
In the meeting, the Governor expressed gratitude to De Nederlandsche Bank as one of our strongest supporters in the challenging times of constant improvement of the central banking operations in our country and our partner in the implementation of a large number of projects for strengthening institutional capacity, aimed to achieving the National Bank strategic objectives.
Ambassador Kop said, among other things, that he is satisfied with the current cooperation with the National Bank and the results of the projects delivered. He underlined that the Kingdom of the Netherlands will remain a faithful friend and supporter of our country and institutions.
Both of them gave assurance that the excellent cooperation will grow even stronger in the forthcoming period.
