The beginning of the school year starts as well a new cycle of the National Bank lectures in the field of financial education. Financial education is part of the strategic goals of the National Bank, and by ensuring continuity in the process and constantly increasing the coverage of the population from different target groups, the goals are to improve financial literacy in the country.
To schedule a lecture in the financial education area, secondary and primary school teachers should fill out the form published on the National Bank site pertaining to financial education at https://www.nbrm.mk/finansiska-edukacija.nspx and to submit it to [email protected], after which they will be contacted in order to organize the lecture.
In the past years, the National Bank has educated about 22,500 citizens, of different ages and education degree, through the activities for the promotion of financial literacy, producing also a large number of materials for the implementation of financial education. Under the leadership of the National Bank, financial regulators adopted the first national Financial Education Strategy for the period 2021 - 2025. In accordance with the Strategy, the Code of Good Practices was adopted, through which quality educational programs are provided, a dedicated and correct approach by all subjects involved in the education process, including from the private and civil sectors.
