Data on the persons who have concluded a credit agreement with non-residents/residents and have invested in/from abroad are processed for statistical purposes, determined in the Law on the National Bank, the Law on Foreign Exchange Operations and the five-year Statistical Survey Program adopted on the basis of the Law on Government Statistics. Personal data are used only as aggregate data for the preparation of standard statistical reports in external statistics.
The following categories of personal data are processed for each person:
- Name and surname of the natural person;
- Address of the natural person;
- Percentage of share in the capital of the enterprise in which it is invested and type of investment;
- Balance and changes of capital and intercompany debt;
- Credit agreement elements;
- Type, purpose and collateral of the loan;
- Elements of the principal, the interest and the costs on the basis of the loan.

Data are stored for 10 years after the settlement of all claims and liabilities in accordance with the conditions from the credit agreement, i.e. 8 years after the receipt of the notification on the outward investments.
