The processing of data on the natural persons is to enable:
- centralization of data and information on credit exposure to the clients, submitted by banks and savings houses;
- use of the data and information on the credit exposure to the clients, submitted by banks and savings houses, for the needs of the credit risk management;
- use of the data and information on the credit exposure of individual banks and savings houses, and the banking system as a whole, to the clients, by the National Bank, for the needs of performing the supervisory function.
The National Bank processes the following categories of personal data:
- name and surname;
- identification number of the citizen;
- resident / non-resident code;
- municipality of residence;
- number of credit agreement; and
- other data on the credit exposure of the natural persons.
The data are kept for 30 years from the day of their receipt in the National Bank for the data that are processed electronically, and for 5 years for the data that are processed manually.
