Within the 60th session of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia held on 18 October 2018, Emilija Nacevska and Ana Mitreska were elected as Vice-Governors of the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia, who after the published public notice, were nominated by the Governor Anita Angelovska Bezoska. A day later, before taking office, they gave a solemn statement before the President of the Assembly, Talat Xhaferi.
The National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia expresses satisfaction that also this time, the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia, without a single vote against and without a single abstention, remained committed to the determination the high professionalism to be the main driving force in the management, decision-making and the overall operation of the central bank. Only such recognized commitment guarantees the continuity of the successful conduct of the monetary policy and the development of the overall central banking operations in our country.
