Question:
Is it possible to purchase Denar banknotes and coins for numismatic purposes?
Answer:
According to the Decision on the single tariff for charging fees for services rendered by the National Bank (Official Gazette of the Republic of North Macedonia No. 1/23), the banknotes for numismatic purposes are sold with a fee of 10% of the nominal value of the banknotes sold, and the coins for numismatic purposes are sold with a fee of 1 denar per piece.

Question:
Where could damaged Denar banknotes and coins be replaced?
Answer:
Replacement of damaged Denar banknotes and coins is made at commercial banks as specified in the Decision on the manner and conditions for replacement of banknotes and coins unfit for circulation. This Decision is published in the "Official Gazette of the Republic of North Macedonia No. 149/21". The replacement of this money can also be made at the National Bank, as well as the replacement of the money that is no longer a legal tender.

What is the National Bank's jurisdiction over financial companies (fast loans)?
Answer:
The National Bank has no jurisdiction over the regulation, the operations and the oversight of financial companies. The Ministry of Finance is the institution competent for the operations of financial companies.

Is it allowed and how could we organize a visit to the NBRNM Museum?
Answer:
The Museum of the National Bank is located at the ground floor of the central building of the National Bank. It is opened for public each working day from Tuesday to Friday, from 09:00 to 15:00. Free admittance.
