The Governor of the National Bank, Trajko Slaveski, PhD, welcomed the intern students who start their practical work in the institution, wishing them a successful start and a possibility of acquiring new knowledge and practical experiences.
The meeting was held at the Museum of the National Bank, in the year of celebrating 80 years of central banking - an anniversary that reflects the long-time contribution of the institution to building the confidence of the national currency and maintaining macroeconomic stability.
“You are part of the future. Use your practical work the best you can - ask questions, learn from your mentors and be open to new ideas”, the Governor Slaveski said.
Intern students will have an opportunity to get acquainted with the work of various organizational units of the National Bank, including monetary policy and research, financial markets, statistics, information technology, legal affairs and vault operations, acquiring a broader picture of the functioning of a modern central bank.
