Today, the Governor of the National Bank, Anita Angelovska Bezhoska and the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski held a meeting and exchanged opinions and information on the current flows in the monetary policy, in the banking sector, as well as on the current developments in the economy.
The President Pendarovski, among other things, emphasized that the National Bank, in the current work, showed capacity in the achievement of financial stability and the maintenance of a reliable banking system, which has been continuously assessed as positive also by the European Commission.
The Governor Angelovska Bezhoska emphasized that the central bank plans numerous activities for the forthcoming period, which will further contribute to bringing our economy closer to the European family.
At the meeting, they gave assurance that the successful conduct of monetary policy will continue by maintaining price stability, as well as that the National Bank will continue to contribute to the maintenance of a stable, competitive and market-based financial system.
