The Museum of the National Bank cares for and keeps the following subject collections:

  • Illyrian coin collection;
  • collection of Roman Republican coins;
  • collection of Roman imperial coins;
  • collection of Roman provincial coins;
  • Byzantine coin collection;
  • collection of coins of the medieval Balkan states;
  • Venetian coin collection;
  • collection of pseudomoney forms, medals, seals and exagia;
  • Ottoman coin collection;
  • modern money collection.

Certain part of the coins have been exhibited at the Governor's cabinet exhibition and another part at the permanent museum exhibition.
