Vice-Governor of the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia
Maja Kadievska-Vojnovikj has 10 years of experience in areas of macroeconomic policies: monetary and fiscal policy. Currently, she holds a position of a Vice-Governor of the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia (NBRM) responsible for Sector of Financial Market Operations and Payment Systems. She is also an executive member of the Governing Council of the NBRM. Before being appointed as a Vice-Governor, she held a position of Advisor - Analyst in the External Sector Developments Unit within the Research Department of the NBRM. She was responsible for preparation of short and medium term balance of payments projections and for analysis of the indicators of external solvency of RM and adequacy of the foreign reserves of RM. She actively participated in the creation of guidelines for the monetary instruments setup, preparation of regular reports of the NBRM and various scientific research projects, and in deliberations with the IMF and credit rating agencies. As an analyst in the Real Sector Developments Unit within the Research Department of the NBRM she was involved in preparation of short-term projections of GDP and inflation, in analysis of macroeconomic trends related to the household sector and investment activity in RM. Within this Unit, she was solely in charge of the analysis of the fiscal policy in RM and budget developments. She has published many research papers. In 2011, she was a President of the Commission on appeals in the field of securities market and guest - lecturer in Macroeconomics at the American College Skopje. She holds an MBA degree from City University Thessaloniki/ Sheffield University.
