Vice-Governor of the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia
Maja Kadievska - Vojnovic has started her career in the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia. Of her twelve years of experience, she spent nine years in the Monetary Policy and Research Department. She started her career as a junior researcher, and was gradually promoted to adviser analyst, principally involved in the field of monetary and fiscal policy. She has participated in the preparation of the projections of GDP, inflation and balance of payments, and was actively involved in the creation of monetary policy, the preparation of regular reports of the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia and in the discussions with the IMF and the credit rating agencies. Her career is rich in various research projects in the area of fiscal policy, household's behavior, investment activity in the Republic of Macedonia, analysis of the external position of the economy, external solvency and foreign reserves adequacy. Currently, she is a Vice Governor of the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia in charge of the Sector of Financial Market Operations and Payment Systems and executive member of the Council of the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia. Moreover, she is a Chairman of the Foreign Reserves Investment Committee and Chairman of the Assets and Liabilities Management Committee. In 2011, she was a President of the Commission to resolve complaints in the area of Securities' Market and guest - lecturer in macroeconomics in one private college in Skopje. She holds an MBA degree from the University of Sheffield.
