Third meeting of the financial supervisory authorities in the Republic of Macedonia

On the occasion of celebrating the International Museum Day, on May 20th, Monday, beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the Museum of the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia, the book titled "Conservation of Archaeological Metal Objects" by Dijana Vanchevska and Biljana Bozaroska Pavlovska will be promoted. The guest-speakers of the book will be Biljana Mincheva-Shukarova, PhD (Institute of Chemistry, Skopje) and Ivelin Kuleff, PhD (Institute of Analytical Chemistry, FHF, Sofia).

On 14 May, 2013, the Operational Monetary Policy Committee held a regular meeting, discussing data on the banking sector as of March 2013, the movements on international and domestic financial markets in April 2013, the results of MAKPAM model and the banking system liquidity.

At the second annual summit "Reshaping the Future of Finance" organized by the Child and Youth Finance International, held from 7-9 May 2013 in Istanbul, Turkey, the National Bank of Macedonia took part and was ranked first i.e. received the prestigious Regional Finalist of Europe award in the category of best organized events and activities during the Global Money Week 2013, 15-21 March, competing with more than 25 participating countries of Europe.
